Orlando Wargame Day (February 11th)

Would anyone be able to give me a ride to/from the event on Saturday, please? My usual ride is double-booked that day, and I don’t have transport of my own.

Okay, I just wanted to keep this thread updated. @Smith might not be able to make it out, so @Atraangelis and I are still planing on showing up to play something, but it could be anything. I will bring a few games and bring them with me for some options, just as @Atraangelis said he’d do as well.

That being said, I think there is still only one table needed at the Haven! See you all there at noon.

I’ll bring a few for sure, See you there!

I’m planning to be there. I’ll bring a few games too!

Here’s what I will throw in the trunk:

Transportation issue resolved. Here’s what I’m bringing:

  • BattleTech Alpha Strike (I’ve only played a few times)
  • Warhammer 40,000 (1,324 points of Craftworld Iyanden eldar; I need to learn how to play)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team (Corsair Voidscarred; I’ve only played once, so need to relearn)
  • Ogre (never played)
  • Risk: 2210 A.D. (never played)
  • Luftwaffe (never played)
  • Axis & Allies (never played)

Thanks for playing a great game of Quartermaster General: 1914.

Setting up the game:

It was a learning game for most of everyone and a re-learning game for the rest of us. Still a great game to pickup and play. It really gives the feel of managing resources of war and thinking through supply lines.

The Central Powers started out strong, but over time Germany was unable to withstand the pressure from the Brits, Russians and France

Thanks for coming out and playing @Halian, @Atraangelis, @GMJS, and especially @RafMan for sharing the game. I had a great time.

And also thanks goes out to The Haven for letting us scream, yell and laugh in their store.

So now the obvious question: are we going to plan a gaming day in March?
