Got to play a few games with the family during hurricane Ian.
I forgot how much I love Horrified. I really dislike most co-op games, but for some reason this one feels different. I absolutely love the items/locations pairing. Makes for fun conversations. I love discarding items to absolve “hits” from monsters. It’s such a simple mechanism.
Vanilla Carcassonne is such a classic. So streamlined and it really hits on many levels: the tactile nature between the wooden meeples and the tiles just work so well together. @shunammite clobbered me.
I also snuck in a game of Cascadia with my son. He loved it and he also clobbered me.
I am currently with power, and no internet. I will likely be able to play another game!
